This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we may share it, and what choices you have regarding your information.

This Privacy Policy applies from the “Last Updated” date listed above and may be updated from time to time.

  • Communications you send to us by email, text message, phone, website form, chat, or other methods;

  • Any other information you choose to provide in connection with a quote, booking, shipment, payment, or customer service request.

When you submit a quote request, we also store the exact wording of the consent statement displayed to you on the form, the address of the page you submitted it from, the date and time of submission, the phone number you entered, and the IP address the submission came from. We keep this as our record that consent was given.

We may also automatically collect certain technical and usage information when you visit our website, including:

  • IP address;

  • Browser type;

  • Device type;

  • Operating system;

  • Pages visited;

  • Referring website;

  • Date and time of visit;

This information helps us operate our website, provide our services, improve customer experience, measure our advertising, prevent fraud, and maintain security.

2. How We Use Your Information

We may use your personal information to:

  • Provide vehicle shipping quotes;

  • Create, process, manage, and fulfill vehicle shipping orders;

  • Communicate with you about your quote, booking, shipment, payment, or customer service request;

  • Confirm shipment details;

  • Share necessary shipment information with carriers, dispatchers, transportation providers, load boards, transportation marketplaces, and other parties involved in arranging or completing your shipment;

  • Process payments and deposits;

  • Provide customer support;

  • Maintain business records, including our record of your consent to be contacted;

We do not use your personal information for unrelated purposes without your consent where consent is required.

3. Consent

When you provide personal information to request a quote, book a shipment, make a payment, sign an agreement, or communicate with us about our services, you consent to our collection and use of that information for those purposes.

If we request your information for marketing or promotional purposes, we will provide a way for you to opt in or opt out where required.

You may withdraw consent for certain communications by contacting us using the information listed at the end of this Privacy Policy. Please note that we may still need to retain or use certain information to complete existing services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, or comply with legal obligations.

4. Sharing Your Information

We may share your information when reasonably necessary to provide our services, operate our business, protect our rights, or comply with applicable obligations.

This may include sharing information with:

  • Licensed motor carriers;

  • Dispatchers and transportation providers;

  • Auto transport load boards and transportation marketplaces;

  • Payment processors;

  • Customer relationship management providers;

  • Website hosting, analytics, communication, email, phone, SMS, and chat service providers, including PostHog, Inc., which also provides the session recording described in Section 7;

  • Address, postal code, and vehicle reference services used to fill in our quote form;

  • Advertising platforms, as described in Section 7, specifically Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram);

  • Insurance providers, claims representatives, legal professionals, or professional advisors when necessary;

  • Government, law enforcement, regulatory, or legal authorities when required or appropriate.

We may share shipment-related information, including customer contact details, pickup and delivery locations, vehicle information, scheduling details, and order information with third-party carriers and transportation service providers in order to arrange and complete vehicle transportation.

We do not sell or transfer your quote request to any other auto transport broker, lead buyer, lead aggregator, or data broker. We do not trade, rent, or resell quote requests. The only disclosure we make to an advertising platform is the information described in Section 7, and Section 7 also explains how to opt out of it.

5. Independent Carriers and Third-Party Transportation Providers

Pride Car Shipping operates as an auto transport broker and may arrange transportation services through independent motor carriers and other third-party transportation providers.

Independent carriers, dispatchers, load boards, and transportation marketplaces are separate businesses and may operate their own systems, procedures, and privacy practices.

When your shipment information is provided to a carrier, dispatcher, load board, or transportation provider for the purpose of arranging or completing transportation, that third party may collect, use, store, or disclose information according to its own policies and legal obligations.

Customers are encouraged to confirm that the carrier, driver, and pickup details match the carrier confirmation provided by Pride Car Shipping before releasing a vehicle for loading.

6. SMS and Mobile Information

If you provide your phone number and consent to receive text messages from us, we may use your number to send shipment updates, quote follow-ups, booking confirmations, carrier information, customer service messages, payment-related messages, and other service-related communications.

Message frequency may vary depending on your quote, booking, shipment status, and communication needs.

Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying “STOP.” You may request help by replying “HELP” or by contacting us directly.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except as necessary to provide messaging services, support the operation of our communication systems, comply with law, or protect our rights.

7. Cookies, Analytics, and Tracking Technologies

Our website may use cookies, pixels, analytics tools, and similar technologies to help operate the website, understand how visitors use the site, improve performance, measure advertising effectiveness, and support website security.

These technologies may collect information such as IP address, device information, browser information, pages visited, referral source, and general website activity.

We may use third-party tools and service providers for website analytics, advertising measurement, call tracking, form tracking, chat functionality, and similar website functions.

Information we share with an advertising platform. We advertise on third-party platforms operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram). Two separate things happen.

On every page. Our Meta advertising pixel loads with the pages of our website and reports to Meta that a page was viewed, together with your IP address, your browser user agent, the address of the page, and the advertising identifiers on your device or in the link you followed. This happens on an ordinary visit, whether or not you ever submit a quote request.

When you submit a quote request. So that we can tell which advertisements lead to quote requests, we transmit a limited set of additional information — by the pixel in your browser and also directly from our own servers to Meta, so that blocking the pixel in your browser does not by itself stop it. The contact details used for this purpose — your email address, your first and last name, your country, and the city, state, and ZIP code of your pickup location — are cryptographically hashed before transmission: each one is converted into a fixed-length code rather than sent in readable form. Hashing is not encryption and it is not anonymization. A platform that already holds the same detail about you in its own records can produce the same code and match it — that is precisely how the measurement works. We also transmit the advertising click and browser identifiers described above, your IP address, and your browser user agent. Your phone number is not transmitted. We do not transmit your vehicle details, your delivery address, your shipping dates, or the content of your communications with us.

Meta may use this information for its own purposes, including measuring and improving advertising across its services. Under state privacy laws this is a “sale” of personal information or “sharing” for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined, even though we receive no money for it. We describe it here so that you can make an informed choice, and we provide the opt-out below.

We do not knowingly sell or share for targeted advertising the personal information of anyone we know or should know is under 18 years of age.

Session recording. Our analytics provider, PostHog, Inc., records how visitors move through our website: mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and the appearance of the page, played back afterwards as a video. We use these recordings to find where the website is confusing or broken. PostHog acts as our analytics provider and processes this information in order to provide that service to us. We have turned off the setting in our PostHog account that would otherwise permit PostHog to use our data to develop its own products or train its models.

Values you type into form fields are masked and are not captured in the recording. We have also turned off the storage of visitor IP addresses in our analytics, so recordings are not stored against your IP address. We do not sell or disclose recordings to advertising platforms. The IP address of a quote submission is stored with your lead record and transmitted to Meta, as described in Section 1 and above.

We do not ask you to agree to this recording before it begins, and we do not treat your use of the website as agreement to it. We describe it here so that you know that it happens, and you can stop it at any time by the means described below.

How to opt out. If your browser or a browser extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request for the browser and device on which it is sent. On a visit where we receive that signal, our advertising pixel is not loaded at all, we transmit none of the quote-request information described above to any advertising platform — neither from your browser nor from our servers — we do not record your session, and we do not collect website analytics. Your quote request itself still reaches us, because that is the service you asked for. You can learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org.

You may also write to support@pridecarshipping.com with the subject “Opt out of advertising measurement.” If you have submitted a quote request, tell us the email address or phone number you used so that we can find your record; we will apply the opt-out to it and exclude you from our advertising audiences. If you have never submitted a quote request, we hold no record that would let us identify you, and the Global Privacy Control signal described above is the way to opt out. Opting out does not affect your quote, your price, or the service you receive.

Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) setting. There is no common industry standard for how websites must respond to DNT signals, and our website does not respond to DNT signals. We do honor the Global Privacy Control signal as described above.

You can usually control or disable cookies through your browser settings. If you disable cookies, some parts of our website may not function properly.

Third-party analytics and advertising providers may also provide their own opt-out tools or privacy settings.

8. Payments

Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors. We do not intentionally store full credit card numbers on our own website systems.

Payment processors may collect and process payment information according to their own privacy policies, security practices, and legal obligations.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any payment processor used in connection with your transaction.

9. Third-Party Services and Links

Our website or communications may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, payment processors, carrier websites, transportation marketplaces, or other services.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices, security practices, content, or actions of third-party websites or services.

Once you leave our website or interact with a third-party service, your information may be governed by that third party’s privacy policy and terms.

10. Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

However, no method of transmission over the internet, email, SMS, phone systems, websites, or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of personal information transmitted to or maintained by us.

If we become aware of a security incident involving personal information, we will evaluate the incident and take steps we determine appropriate based on the nature of the incident, the information involved, and applicable legal requirements.

11. Data Retention

We may retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, and protect our rights.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the purpose of collection, legal requirements, dispute needs, and business needs.

Our record of your consent to be contacted by call or text is retained for at least four years. Our record of any revocation of that consent, and of any request not to be contacted, is retained for at least five years.

12. Your Privacy Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information we maintain about you.

You may also request that we stop certain communications or limit certain uses of your information where applicable.

You may opt out of the disclosure of your personal information to an advertising platform, and of targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising, as described in Section 7.

To make a privacy-related request, please contact us using the contact information listed below.

We may need to verify your identity before responding to certain requests. We do not require you to verify your identity in order to opt out of advertising as described in Section 7.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Any changes will be posted on this page.

Changes take effect when posted unless otherwise stated.

Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
